I am utterly appalled at the US.

The US government doesn't care about humanitarian ethics, apparently.

...Remember those "crimes against humanity" seen and condemned during the holocaust to which we promised "never again"? Surely this promise is equally, even more important than our nations personal gain. And yet, look at our history. Rwanda, Cambodia, Darfur, Bosnia? In total:

- 8,326,000 people dislocated from their homes
- 3,371,000 people killed

But? It wasn't our problem.

They were just some far away backwards nations with no economic connection to the US. Whatever happened there, didn't matter to us. Our solution? Denial, misleading reports and shifting the blame. Once we get that out of the way, we sit back and watch people die for no reason.

"Never again", hmm.

Why do you think the holocaust happened? The same exact reason? Yep. We've learned alot, havent we?

Now, when situations like Iraq's invasion and annexing of Kuwait happen, we immediately spring into armed conflict. Why did we do this? Because our oil imports were threatened. That is the ONLY reason.
